SC asked to compel Comelec to probe vote-tampering allegations

A GROUP of taxpayers has asked the Supreme Court (SC) to compel the Commission on Elections (Comelec) to prosecute Smartmatic officials who allegedly “tampered” the source codes in the May 9 automated elections.

According to petitioners Eduardo Bringas, Bishop Reuben Abante and Moses Rivera, the poll body must explain the abrupt upsurge and fall of votes in the presidential and vice presidential race, and the tweaking incident in one of its transparency servers. (READ MORE)
